Darak Meij

1. In Darak Meij, the last living descendants of Lievus and Kadia face off in a battle that kills them both, drives “mages” into secrecy, and ushers in a new modernity for the surviving Ehrban.
   1. In Part 1, newborn Darak Meij reflects on his inherited memories of how his parents Scotus Meij and Wreben Wieg met, conceived him, and then died at the hands of Mav the Witch-Queen.
      1. In Episode 1, Darak recalls the meeting of his parents Skotos Meij, a young wizard ranger, and Wreber Wieg, an orphan warlock running from her family heritage.
      2. In Episode 2, Darak recalls how Skotus defected from his duties as a ranger to save Wreber's life, leading the two to fall in love and eventually conceive Darak.
      3. In Episode 3, Darak recalls how the Mav the Witch-Queen hunted down her cousin Wreber, and finding the young Wieg in love with a Meij, murdered them both before Darak's eyes.
   2. In Part 2, Darak wanders out of the wilderness to a rural town where he is discovered to much fanfare, which ultimately leads Mav to descend upon the town to kill him.
      1. In Episode 1, Darak wanders out of the wilderness to a rural town, where authorities attempt to apprehend him and, failing to overpower him, call for outside help.
      2. In Episode 2, a wizard ranger arrives at the rural town holding young Darak Meij, and tries to establish communication with the feral child until disaster befalls them all.
      3. In Episode 3, Mav the Witch-Queen descends upon the rural town seeking to kill the last Meij to slip through her fingers, but is driven back by his surprising furious might.
   3. In Part 3, a reluctant coalition of political powers coalesces around Darak's quest to kill Mav, leading to both of their deaths and the expulsion of wizards from the public sphere.
      1. In Episode 1, a coalition of different political forces, both mundane and magical, begins to form behind Darak's unyeilding quest to kill Mav the Witch-Queen.
      2. In Episode 2, Mav is successfully driven out of the continent Darak's quest began on, but the coalition is forced to become global when Darak will not stop pursuing her.
      3. In Episode 3, Darak hunts Mav down to the farthest reaches and kills her in a spectacular duel, before being assasinated by mundane forces who've plotted against him all along.
