Page Construction Details

• All pages were developed for a 1024x768 display and tested usually with the latest versions of Microsoft's Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.

• All current editing, including web pages, graphics, video and audio is done on Windows 7 or Vista systems.

• The website design is content driven and simplicity and ease-of-use were important goals.  I tried to avoid gimmicks and other things that slow page loading.

• Microsoft's FrontPage was used for most HTML editing.

• Most graphics editing was done with Adobe Photoshop CS or Photoshop Elements 8.

• Video editing is done with Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5, Premiere Elements or Ulead Media Studio Pro 6.5.

• Most photos are originals: digital photos, DV frames and scanned 35mm photographs and negatives.

• Most of our still photos are made with Canon PowerShot SX120IS, Canon PowerShot S5-IS,  Canon PowerShot A520a, and Sony DSC-P92 5-Mp digital cameras.

• Some of our still photos are made using the still camera Megapixel mode on our Sony digital Handycams (digital video cameras).  

• Most of our current videos are made with our Sony digital video cameras. Individual video frames are sometimes captured from the digital video for web page use.

• Underwater photos in the Summer of 2005 and after were made with a Canon PS A520 digital camera in a Canon waterproof housing.
